The idea resulted because of her husband Kevin who has been director of the destinations marketing area since early 2002 and clients were always contacting him for the services of a wedding coordinator o information on services for weddings and he always past the inquiries to Abril to coordinate. So in 2008 Abril formally launched Bodas Turquesa and Weddings Turquesa offering Wedding Planning and Coordination services not only for Puerto Aventuras but from Cancun to Tulum including all of Mexicos Riviera Maya. Abril is originally from the state of Hidalgo, she holds a BS in Psychology as well as 2 Masters including Post Grad studies in Human Behavior, her desires and abilities in decoration and design always stood out and in 2006 her life was changed when she married Kevin Stolz originally from New Jersey in the US who established his presence in Mexico with his marketing company nearly 12 years ago in Cancun, Riviera Maya and Mexico City. "I consider the cultural difference for both Kevin and I a very important base for the creation of the perfect wedding. Together Kevin and Abril have built one of the most important and solid companies in the area offering the world the opportunity to know the rich Mexican cultures and true paradise that is the Riviera Maya.
